Once a month we suspend the usual A la Carte menu and host a ‘Special Event’ evening/weekend with a themed, set-price, menu. Always popular they vary from Italian and French to ‘Starters and Afters’, Fish, and Game. Except for the ‘Starters and Afters’ evenings, each Special Event menu follows the same format: a choice of three starters; three main courses and three desserts, followed by coffee and truffles. Starters and Afters is completely different, with ten starters and ten desserts to choose from, guests order five dishes in whatever order they like: 3 starters and 2 desserts; 2 starters, 2 desserts and cheese; 4 starters and cheese; and so on. It is so popular with our fans that we now schedule it five times a year.
