Once a month we suspend the A la Carte menu and host a ‘Special Event’ evening/weekend with a themed, set-price, menu. Always popular they vary from Italian, Spanish and French to ‘Starters and Afters’, Fish, Flambé and Game. Each menu follows the same format: a choice of three starters; three main courses and three desserts, followed by coffee and truffles, except for the ‘Starters and Afters’ evenings, examples of some of our past Special Events are linked at the foot of the page.
Starters and Afters is completely different, with ten starters and ten desserts to choose from, guests order five dishes in whatever order they like: 3 starters and 2 desserts; 2 starters, 2 desserts and cheese; 4 starters and cheese; and so on. It is so popular with our fans that we have had to schedule it four times a year.
